Having totaled more than 30 years of public relations experience, Chris Dirato manages multiple accounts for Fort Lauderdale-based Bitner Group PR. His clients include three Seminole casino properties in South Florida – Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa, Seminole Brighton Casino and Seminole Casino Coconut Creek – as well as B. Lilley Productions (producer of five air shows) and the nonprofit Habitat for Humanity of Broward.
After graduating from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism, Dirato began his business career as a sports writer. He worked for a handful of newspapers in Oklahoma and New Jersey (where he grew up), before landing his first corporate PR position at Mercedes-Benz of North America.
Since 1981, Dirato has accumulated a mix of corporate and agency experience. As connected to the latter, he has worked with such clients as Subaru of America, Porsche Cars North America, Chrysler, Exide Technologies and the U.S. Army.
An ex-athlete, Dirato resides in Pompano Beach where he enjoys the beach and other outdoor activities with his wife, Tara.
